| Admission into each of the graduate programs is based upon evaluation by the Graduate Admissions Committee. Factors considered are GRE scores (quantitative, verbal, and analytic portions), previous academic achievements as measured by grades on all college-level work, and potential based upon the evaluations of at least three qualified persons who are familiar with the applicant's previous academic accomplishments and likelihood of success in a graduate program. Competition for admission into the degree programs is intense. Consequently, only students with an excellent record should apply. Students seeking admission to the Computer Science graduate programs preferably should have undergraduate degrees in Computer Science. Students seeking admission to the Computer Engineering graduate programs preferably should have undergraduate degrees in Electrical or Computer Engineering. Students with undergraduate degrees in other fields will be required to take courses to acquire the necessary background. |
