This course covers the topics of computer number systems, number system structures, arithmetic operation, algorithms, implementation logic, high speed arithmetic, arithmetic unit design and fault-tolerance of arithmetic logic units. Prereq: CMPS 53O or consent of instructor. Same as EECE 582.
