07/09, Dr. Raghavan serves on NSF CISE Advisory Committee.

Being a member of NSF CISE Advisory Committee (http://www.nsf.gov/cise/advisory.jsp), Dr. Vijay Raghavan has accepted to serve on a subcommittee of NSF CISE-AC (and SBE-AC) whose charge is to evaluate state-of-the-art technologies available in IR, Data Mining, etc. that NSF can adopt for analysis and management of its "Research Portfolio".

He has recently been appointed as an Editorial Board Member of International Journal of Granular Computing, Rough Sets and Intelligent Systems (IJGCRSIS) and a Co-Chair of Technical Program Committee for IEEE Web Intelligence conference (WI-2010).

Serving on the College's Advisory Committee (link here), Dr. Raghavan gives invited seminars to Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Malaysia in Kuching,Sarawak on July 16-18, 2009.
